My Belief System
As a therapist, my passion lies in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals and couples can feel truly heard and understood. I deeply believe in the power of reducing shame and fostering an environment where every person can explore their feelings, relationships, and identities with confidence. Whether navigating personal challenges, relationship dynamics, or the unique experiences of being part of the LGBTQ+ community, I am committed to offering compassionate support that empowers clients to embrace their authentic selves without fear of judgment. My goal is to help each person discover their own path toward healing, growth, and self-acceptance.
I am an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and trained in EMDR and the Gottman Method. I work with couples and individuals around communication and intimacy issues, as well as have extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also specialize in working with those who experience pelvic pain, orgasm difficulty, or loss/lack of interest in sex.
In using an approach of both concrete tools and in-depth work, my goal is to help each person discover their own path toward healing, growth, and self-acceptance. Through our work together, my hope is to help couples and individuals gain skills, education, and clarity to create a more fulfilling and satisfying relationship and life.
